Move from Monthly SIMO to SIMO PAYG

My Monthly SIMO contract ends in a few weeks. I want to move to a SIMO PAYG and keep my current number but can't find out how to do this. Can anyone offer advice please? TIA

* Only doing this because connection has got increasingly poor over past few months and really want to change network but don't have time to research properly for about another month

Once you are at contract end you need to contact O2. They will send you a PAYG sim with your old number on.
