Makes you wonder how borderline people are with their cash flow that they have to cancel a contract almost immediately.
Doubt the courts will entertain these as the amounts are trivial. For example, if you subtract the difference between what they should have paid and the increased sum, it doesn't even make the grade for small claims.
On the other hand, it could be a great time to pick up a cheap iphone (or other high end phones) as the market will be flooded with people trying to raise funds to buy out their contracts

I also like all the posts that are being lieblous to o2 "theft" "Cheating" etc perhaps o2 should sue for deformation as o2 are legaly corect in this price rise and ofcom has already backed orange over its price rise last year!!! source yet again http://www.reghardware.com/2012/01/12/ofcom_sides_with_orange_in_price_hike_controversy/

I meant the courts will be busy with all the people O2 will be chasing because they have cancelled their DD or are refusing to pay their bills

Think we may have a few phones being sold to get out of contracts here or contracts being 'sold' so the person doesn't pay an extra few pennies

Reminds me that we should stick a warning that by passing on a contract to someone that your name is on the bill and they are still liable for all bills even in non-payment.
