But with MWC round the immediate corner it also may be something..
Now this hasn't broke anywhere else from what I can see so this is fresh from my head.
In the Sony Privilege app only available on Xperia devices, a few VR videos have appeared in the latest update.
Now, considering Sony tends to unwittingly leak the odd tidbit of info just before MWC (remember the tablet z4 appeared in Xperia lounge) This could mean that we may see the Xperia vr unit at MWC.
Possibly not, but I'm not aware of any official Sony way to view this content, which BTW is currently locked.

"Remember...no vr headset currently works with privilege plus. Only through the Google cardboard app which doesn't support privilege plus".
So...this appears conclusive. Is there a live feed to the Sony presentation at MWC? If so give me the time and I won't tag you for anything...

Xperia now has a live VR theatre built into privilege plus.
Here's some screens from the (now working) vr section.
Seems very odd for this kind of app to be available with no Sony vr headset..... Yet.

I can only imagine what that will be like with a VR headset...if one is on it's way of course
EDIT: Particularly as the instructions talk about a headset....

A bit sad though that they sent the link to watch.......like giving a kid a bag of sweets and snatching it away before they started....:smileysad:
