Long Term faulty mast

Anonymous
Not applicable

My local mast in Ruskington NG34 is shown as faulty and has been for over a week. There is no way to report this. Can anybody report this to O2 to get it fixed as I have no indoor or outdoor service.

@Anonymous See this: O2 | Service Status

Use the O2 network status checker to see if there’s a known network connection problem in your area, or to report an unknown issue to us. From here, you’ll be able to subscribe to updates using Keep Me Posted.

@Anonymous

If it is the mast at RAF Cranwell then it could take a while to restore service due to access restrictions, but the other one is on a farm in Ruskington, so again access could be the issue, or a greedy landowner...

Also to note 1 week in not a long term fault, and o2 do not guarantee 100% service uptime..

Any faults can be reported through the My Network app https://www.o2.co.uk/apps/my-network

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

You cannot report an issue using the o2 network status checker. Also O2 have barred wifi calling on my samsung for some reason.

@Anonymous Download My Network App and register to report faults.

Has WiFi Calling been activated on your account?

We are not O2 so can't answer for them regarding that

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

You cannot report an issue using the o2 my network app. Ridiculous that you have to install an app anyway.

Any other methods to contact o2? I'd like to send them an email but when you go to 'Contact Us' you just get led around in circles and invariably sent here which has no support from O2 and is largely full of disgruntled customers like me! O2 don't seem to want to allow any of there customers to contact them.

@Anonymous Is WiFi calling actually barred or just not enabled from O2's end? Speak to customer service.

Call 202 from your mobile or 0344 809 0202, or 0800 032 1402 If you can't use your phone to call, download Skype to call the freephone number: Guide: A Guide to Skype
When it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say 'Upgrade', 'Lost/Stolen', or 'Fraud' if the suggestion above doesn't get you through.
Best time to call is 8 am.

According to O2 wifi calling does not need to be enabled, everybody should have it.

Fat chance of getting an answer and even less chance of getting a sensible response.
