Just a few niggles

Hi I'm new to o2 and am on the payg £15 simplicity tariff.
When I send a text message I get a message saying your balance is 000 (I know I have no credit as its already been taken for simplicity)

My lil niggle is that if I send 1 5message/part text message I get 5 of these messages pop up and have to tap ok 5 times to get rid of them. I'm just finding them a bit annoying when I'm sending long jokes to multiple people.
I'm also niggled when I'm making calls instead of getting the dialling tone straight away, I'm getting silence then the automated o2 message telling me my balance is low or I have no credit before it starts dialling the number.
Is there anyway of getting rid of these messages?

If your message is very long it will be split into 5 messages as texts have a 160 character limit, hence the 5 notifications. The prepay system will always send you a reminder if you have no, or low, credit. Have you considered the pay monthly simplicity instead? Unltd texts and no reminders.

oops I think I posted in wrong forum BAD NEWBIE :robotsurprised:
Thank you Beaufighter and adamtemp64 for your replies.
I thought I'd try o2 live chat before I rung customer services and the advisor was really helpful.
I had to answer some security questions inc: my mobile number my balance and what I top up and get for that top up.
Within minutes they replied that the notifications had be switched off.
Have sent a few messages and fingers crossed the balance notifications have stopped. There is nothing they can do regards the message I get before being connected to a number I have dialled, but I can live with that.
