It is 2020 and we still have no live stock system

Hi all a bit of a rant from me !!

 

I have raised a complaint but due to COVID etc thought I would do an early upgrade online and not in store only to get the out of stock email some 3 hours after processing my payment for settling my device plan and paying for Saturday delivery having started the process with in stock !

 

I should know better but took the risk now for the space grey 2020 iPad Pro 12.9 to be on 6 week order delay arghhhhhhhh.

 

When will o2 listen and implement a live stock system that nearly every online retailer has !

When I go to the webpage for the Space Grey 2020 Ipad Pro, it tells me 6 weeks delivery...

But to your point about a live stock system, this isnt unique to o2 in the mobile sphere, Vodafone and Three are exactly the same..

Not sure why mobile networks struggle with this bit of ecommerce...

The only network i know that has a semi-live stock system is BT/EE
- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK

A lot cheaper direct from Apple or on Amazon, @adamtemp64 if you have the readies, and probably in stock.

I went through hell and back trying to swap the space grey for the silver (can’t be done) so I ordered the Silver (stating 2-3 day delay) and then cancelled the space grey... only to then receive an email stating this is also out of stock and now there’s a 2 week delay 😌🙃

I give up - no early self given Christmas present for me.

Thank God for wine 🍷😐🙄 have a great Christmas everyone 😭

I feel the pain and was being promised all sorted by a complaints manager it was sorted now awaiting a callback then escalate to complaints review service !
