Is your Smartphone listening to you?

Yeh ~ probably not?

Well I have been reading a lot of very convincing observations 

that Facebook/Instagram  and WhatsApp may be able to

eavesdrop on conversations and tailor ads back through

these sites.

Even though I may be sceptical ~ I still switched "off" 

my microphone.

Which would force me to present exhibit a. That episode of the Simpson's. I never use the apps to make calls. Although I do video call sometimes so makes you wonder.

Having been a victim of a major hack through my isp ~ 

With my Mobile Phone & PC ~ I am cautious get rid of apps rather than put them on

never use social media and stay with the ordinary communication where possible.

Free this and Free that always has it's downsides and could be devastating.

Thank you for your post and Well done ~ I expect this keeps you safe because it is not awake all the time like mine ~ and I am a bit lazy.  I must get more tech savvy though in the meantime everything is manual.

Why worry about the phone? Every time you step foot out of the house you ate tracked every step of the way, any establishment you enter, be it a shop, store or medical centre  you are on camera .

Why do you think footballers on TV place their hand over their mouths when speaking to one another? People are monitoring conversations, your location can be found by your phone signal. Despite all the furor over websites and data collection, do you think your information is safe?? 

I long since gave up worrying about this. Hospitals have all your medical history. Secure? You would like to think so but don't be naive. Companies like O2 share info with so called trusted partners who sell that info on to the World and its mother. 

I no longer care if the FBI, CIA or MI6 is listening via my phone. This is the world we made and now we live with the consequences!

Mind you just got as9+ and sending it back before I brain it in Oreo you could at least pretend bixby didnt exist this is going back because to alter setting you have to log in to samsung account and aacivate having gone round in circles with this and spoken to samsung with no result off it goes
