Is the forum broken again ?

I can't get rid of Unread posts.....tried under the Options drop down and logged off and on again.

Sorry but, I am the godmother of her cats! Can we share at least @Cleoriff? She has 2! And her job is yours @jonsie but, are you sure you will rather stay in London than in Thailand?     

Summarizing: Please share any thoughts about this random and intermittent problem that only some people experience and that seems to be related with @Marjo. Anything would help Lithium engineers and us.

Problem-solving such as this must follow a strictly controlled process.

I suggested that @MercedesS create a test thread which only you and @Marjo post in.

The fault appears to occur when an established thread with no posts in it from @Marjo is then changed when she makes a post.

Try this and let's see if we (the non-admin users) experience the unread/read problem

This has just happened to me again. I replied to a post. At the time it was just one post and one reply (mine)

I then went to unread posts and saw this

I had just been on the thread and replied so obviously I had read it! I then read the thread again 2nd time...went to unread posts...and still showing as unread.. Hadn't been moved or edited....

This again is on my PC...

And no sign of @Marjo being involved !!.....well that scuppers both my and MI5's theory.

I think only Lithium will be able to resolve this as they know their own system.....or should.

Hmmmm, but there is an edit on the 2nd post - I wonder if editing has an effect on it?

I wasn't seeing what you 2 have seen.....it's impossible to identify the cause if it's so random.
