If you want some feedback fair enough. I don't care if you have your data capped as mine is not. You only have to accept a capped allowance if you want a subsidised phone from O2. Buy one sim free from Apple and use any contract you already have!

This unfortunately is only partly true. ALL customers, regardless of when you started your contract and regardless of whether you are still contracted or your contract has expired, will be moved to the LIMITED data tarrif in October.
O2 have a clause in their T&Cs which state that, providing they give you 30 days notice, they can remove or amend any part of your tarrif as they see fit.
So, ALL customers will have LIMITED data (READ: not unlimited) from October. Apparently we will be receiving notice at least 30 days prior to this so I guess all will become clear.
I have confirmed separately that my tariff will stay the same, other than the mobile data allowance so at least thats one good thing.
