Hiya flks, I'm Lesley from Ayr, Scotland. I'm a newbie and a tech dinosaur so I think I'll be a regular here.

Hi @Anonymous Welcome to the forum.
I was a newbie once...and still am a tech dinosaur...
(though I have learnt a lot from the experts on here)
Is there anything we can help you with today?...or maybe you just want to introduce yourself here

Thank you @Anonymous
I would have been back sooner but I was enjoying a stress-free week in Hong Kong and Macau with my youngest lad. I almost didn't bother but you can't let them get you down after 7 or 8 years.....

@jonsie I won't be seeing my lad & future daughter-in-law over the Christmas / New Year period for all sorts of reasons ... that'll make it, as of now, I've not seen the two of them since my dad's funeral last January ... but we are to make it special, in my home, mid-January 2017 when my birthday is
You put your kids 1st, once a parent always a parent, that's how I see it ... but, I live on my own jonsie, no spouse, so it's a bit different maybe

Sometrimes I miss those all alone cooler days with the odd shopping trip and the the daily visit to see my friends at the Black Horse. Life is good here but I sometimes miss my old home and car and the British way of life....but most of all I miss someone dearly.
