When are O2 going to offer 4 for 1 international texts again?

There's no suggestion they ever will.

I'm not sure they ever will. It's not been offered since the old legacy tariffs and I doubt they will re-introduce it.

Would there be any point as TuGo is now available?

TuGo as u know works with wifi and not everywhere has wifi. I have a contract that gives 4-1 texts unlimited data and wifi, but O2 won't let me upgrade my phone unless I change tarriffs. I'd happy to stay on the current tarriff and take an upgrade or get another one that has the 4-1, I don't need unlimited texts 600 a month is fine when I travel. The only option is move to a not so good tarriff or buy a phone, even though my contract say I can have an upgrade O2 won't do it. 😞

I am in the same boat which is why I aways buy  my phones sim free. I don't want to lose unlimited data and 4:1 texts so I'm happy to just buy phones as and when I please. Nowadays you don't get better offers for upgrades than you would as a new customer.
