Hi everyone,

Recently, Leonard and I have noticed a few threads with suggestions of pages on the O2 site that could be improved in terms of the wording, phrasing, or the information that the pages show.

These include:

O2 wallet pages

O2 travel pages

Certain pages not loading, etc.

These are just a few areas of the site however and suggestions from anywhere on o2.co.uk are very welcome.

As you guys are the ones who have suggested that there are problems, here is your chance to let us know in one thread, so that we can easily collate impressions, pass them on and hopefully get them sorted for everyone.

If you have suggestions for an improvement, please include a link to the page, a description of its exact location, and also a suggestion of how it should be changed or re-worded.

So let us know. I look forward to seeing your views.

Toby

Leonard, I reckon somebody in O2 has realised what a mammoth task this is so I will offer this advice for free.

The best way out of the problem is to construct a whole new O2 website, as you did with the forum, then remove the old one overnight and load up the new one.

I would just like the whole o2 site to be removed and a start as fresh as mentioned.

There is old and new pages intermingled, Links that work but take you to wrong pages.

O2 Travel and roaming information is worse now than its ever been.

North Cyprus is part of the Turkish side, how ever according to o2 with its cost it half in europe and half in turkey. A Customer on here has been charged 30p per sms, however o2 roaming say its 7p.

There are countries on the o2 roaming that o2 say you can now use your phone. According to GSM it self, these countries dont have any roaming agreements and one country you cant even take your phone into it.

Is there no verifications etc that are done before the pages go live?

Who is doing the web?

Well All, after ive just seen that o2 are moving 200 jobs to South Africa in Pay Monthly, ive given up.

Just cant beleive what they are doing and all the changes seem to be coming down from above.

Nothing more really to say to be honest. I just o2 see sense. but dont think they will some how.

Feel sorry for the guys in UK now, as this is only the start of it to be honest. 😞

Oh and the o2 complaint Link does show the page correctly in IE 9 and Ive tried to email a complaint and I get back that the email address isnt working.

So Have we already moved complaints to South Africa then?

I would like to see a complete revamp of the O2 website, start from stratch.

Take a look at O2 Ireland's website, http://www.o2online.ie/o2/

It seems much fresher, simple, not everything all over the place!

I have to agree it's very slick and tidy, and having a look around all the links appear to work!

There seems a lot more staff interaction too. This is what O2-UK need to aspire to. Sack the idiots looking after our website and utilise the O2-IE IT guys. They are way in advance and please don't try and tell me they are one and the same.

Everything about the IE site is slicker and more user friendly.
