Not looking for the pros and cons of each os but thought I would share this lets make sure we all try and lock down what apps can harvest from us all  on any mobile eco system !

That is so damn frightening @adamtemp64 I always feel vulnerable when I download an app and they ask for this that and the other information. I normally just decline and go without the app slight_frown

One of the newest features of Android Marshmallow is that you will be able to individually control permissions for all of your apps. A long time coming, but a very welcome feature.

I can never understand why the simplest of apps wasn't access to your contacts, photos and text messages. I never allow them access,  I can do without such apps.

Normally they require access to certain things for very valid reasons but it would help if the reasons why were given to help users understand.
