Home dashboard  `What you have got left' - no. of days please nice O2 team : )

Just joined O2 from giffgaff (hi all) and first thought when look at my app or web dashboard is that where it says `What you have got left' it would be really useful in the same part of the screen to have a countdown of the number of days you have left until next months bundle starts. I could work it out but that's not intuative. You could go further and have average per day left but I think that is prob a little too far / too much info.

`What you have got left'

  • data
  • minutes
  • text
  • days

Simple, clear and informative.

Cheers slight_smile

David

You mean a bit like this, like I have on my Three account:

This is what you’ve still got left to use until your new monthly allowance starts. This does not include any add-ons you may have purchased.

O2 is slightly different as they have an anniversary date, which never changes, but could easily be included.

Hi Toby,

Not easy to move away from giffgaff as excellent service.

Couple of things....

Data - for someone that use web, uses phone as a radio, tethers for my notebook, data speed super important. giffgaff even though uses the O2 network to piggy back on their speed I believe is restricted (gently throttled). I tested O2 v giffgaff sim and O2 consistently provided faster speed. It is probably why they can offer great rates. I would guess O2 customers have priority in the data sphere.

O2 sim only offer until 29/6 - The 12 month sim only offer that is currently available. giffgaff £18 for 6 GB per month = £3 per GB. Pretty good but O2 currently offering £20 for a massive 20G = £1 GB. Incredible deal!

Mobile - I bought a PAYG HTC M9 from O2 which was a steel at £360 just before Christmas so only had choice of giffgaff or O2 as not able to unlock my PAYG within the first year. Brilliant phone. Amazing sound quality and speakers.

I did dabble with Vodafone sim only with another unlocked phone but their service is utter rubbish. Never never have a contract with Vodafone the stress is just not worth it. Still not resolved.

O2 service so far excellent. Pulling through my number from giffgaff worked perfectly.

Very happy with O2 + great community site.

Cheers

DJO
