Op if you do sell it via o2, please take photos of the screen and the water damage indicator before you send it off, it will save you so much time once they lower the quoted price due to screen / water damage

Yes  - I heartily endorse those remarks.  They tried to tell me a Galaxy S2 I sent for recycle had bad pixels in the display, which was nonsense.  So I asked them to return the phone to me which they  - but badly packed and with battery out but sitting directly against the screen.  Don't know how it survived the trip back!

Or you could ask someone in another thread if they wanted it? Or is that sort of thing not allowed on here?

It has been suggested before but it was felt that it wasn't suitable for this forum.....

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.

Covered on the Forum Guidelines.

"8.1. Please don't advertise goods/services for sale. Other websites are specifically set up for this task, are much better at it and have the staff to support disputes. Advertising classes as posting links to products in (multiple) threads out of context, as well as creating threads to advertise a specific product."

Yes be very careful with o2 Recycle because it is not o2 but a company called Redeem Ltd.  Google them and be warned...  I got a massively reduced offer on aphone that the o2 shop said was fine when I handed it in!

For the price you will get and then the price they finally offer it isn't worth it. Use the local buy and sell site on Facebook.
