I ordered the iPhone 17 PM a day after the release date. It said “upto 4 weeks” I didn’t mind as I knew I would have to wait before hand.
i checked a few days later and it said “upto 3 weeks” which I thought great it’s coming down. I will get it quicker.
anyways I logged on and no it says “more than 4 weeks”. More annoying when I go onto the o2 website to order the phone again it’s saying “upto 3 weeks”
what’s going on? Has this happened to anyone else? I contacted customer support and all that was said was “you will receive and email with an update” its a bit misleading and it’s as if they are going to offer customers buying a phone now one before myself.
cheers

@DrGashingtons unfortunately no one can tell you when you’ll receive your phone until it’s been dispatched and no one can tell you when it will even be dispatched, I would not listen to any up to *** weeks, I was told up to 3 by the advisor on the phone who put the order through, my email confirmation stated delivery on the 19th and so did my O2 order tracker online, I received it on the 19th

That’s great thank you. Yeah I was getting a bit annoyed that my time went up but the new orders on the website were gonna be earlier haha. Thanks.

I have had hell receiving my new ultra watch 3. phoned and ordered 19th September. Was supposed to arrive the 22nd.. nothing phoned up and was told they had no idea when it would arrive. Finally arrived on the 25th after almost a whole week of waiting. The customer service is totally appalling. I must have spent over 10 hours speaking to them in the last week and nothing has been action on my account. I have sent an email to the executive office... Even that has been outsourced.

@Chrisuk013 it's the way of the world these days, it's cheaper to have call centres in Outer Mongolia for example than the UK because the staff get paid Peanuts to work mad hours.
