I have a HTC One from o2 and have no problems with it until recently.. On the day o2 made available 4g I signed up and almost immediately I noticed that the signal of my phone. Now on average I only receive between 1 and 2 bars where before I would get all five... I would really like to know if anyone else has this issue

IMO This is becoming a national issue as more and more places are struggling to get online with o2. It is generally a data issue but never the less the networks failed to see it coming and act in time

It appears so from reading various threads.

Glad my phone is only 3G wink

I'm not wanting to jinx myself but 4G speeds for me have remained constant.

It seems demand is definitely outstripping supply. There are more and more problems being reported here lately and O2 seem to just shrug it off as congestion which was seemingly rare 12 months ago.

BoB if memory serves me right you are not in London? ??

London has huge density so need extra transmission which already looks like it is starting to struggle.

Heaven help those of us in rural areas. Who knows, we may even get electricity on day? 😃

I don't doubt it @Anonymous but I have never personally experienced a drop in signal where I live.

Lucky I know.....

At least I am not struggling to get 4G thankfully ...

For me generally in the villages and in the couple of towns nearby 2g call and text is ok. 3g is now ok in towns since last month's upgrade and 4g non existent as expected although I am told it is coming in Q4 by o2.

Out of the villages though and there is almost universal no signal. Rural is beautiful and very relaxed. BT infinity is here but mobile signals? Not a chance

That's not what I meant BoB!!!! 😆 and you know it lol

I meant that the OP is in London and there are many more users trying to access the capacity and as such there appears to already be transmission issues there.
