Now on average I only receive between 1 and 2 bars where before I would get all five... I would really like to know if anyone else has this issue

Indeed @jonsie but in most cases signal isn't the issue, fibre backhaul transmission capacity is the issue.

As the fibre network expands so will capacity. Hence why Vodafone purchased C&W. They have 26000 miles (or kilometers can't remember which) of their own backhaul and they are expanding it where as o2 and others use BT who are two thirds through a national rollout.

Cleo - Go sit in Asda car park and then go to Aldi on the A5 and try and connect to 3g - Full signal but zero data transmission. The only mast on my side of town that works is the one at Ambleside.
