Google maps / route planner data

Hi. I've recently started to use google maps as a route finder on my iPhone 4s. On average for a 1 hour each way journey how much data will this use? Many thanks

I think you would just have to try it out and see.

A new feature in iOS7 is a data tracker to tell you what you have used.

Settings > Mobile > scroll down to 'use mobile data for.

I believe their are sat nav type apps that you can use and download the needed maps and use it off line.
