I got my A53 on Contract as my Upgrade, i dropped it 12ins from the ground & it smashed plus LCD gone. I never had insurance because it was an upgrade & i never had time, how crappy is this Screen 😡 foe the price, they need 2 sort that out..

How a phone lands and what stress forces are applied has as much to do with the outcome as how far it falls.
Not sure how far you will get with Samsung.

For a Sub £300 phone, the screen is as good as you are going to get..
Im sorry but the A series is Samsung's budget range, and an A series and for that matter no phone is guaranteed to survive a 12inch drop screen first or on one of pressure points.
Samsung will charge you for a new screen, and its currently £180 ish direct, as this was user damage it will not be done under warranty, and Samsung are not known for doing things under good will..
