France to Belgium

So we are on pay as you go and travelled from France to Belgium (which is down as included in EU roaming) and got this message:

Welcome to BELGIUM. Calls from your Pay & Go mobile back to the UK cost £2.00 a minute to UK mobiles and to UK landlines. Receiving a call will cost £2.00 a minute. Texts back to the UK cost 50p a message and data costs £7.20 per MB. You can top up at www.o2.co.uk/help/pay-as-you-go/roaming-in-europe. Enjoy your trip!

Can anyone help please? We detoured back to France as needed internet for maps and didn’t want to incur massive charges! I am assuming this is a mistake but can someone from O2 can help please? We need to go through Belgium again tomorrow and want this clarified.

This is not customer services, nor is there any support from o2 on here. 

But it does sound like an error, so you should not be charged.  Unless you have been outside the UK for more than 63 days in 180 days, at which point the charges are correct.

@Deb11 You don't need data to use maps.
