So, this morning when logging in ON PC, I had the same security check with no box to put the code (which I received on my phone). I tried it again and this time I had the Hi Denise message at the top. I wasn't allowed to move on from that, home page was missing but again by using a few emails I received yesterday, I could bring up the forum.
When this is fed back to Khoros, it's IMPORTANT to mention that not everyone who accesses this forum does so via mobile phone.
Also, what the hell is the point of doing a SECURITY CHECK on people accessing the FORUM? If it was My O2 I could understand it. Also I'd understand it if I was accessing the shop to make an expensive purchase but the community forum? These IT people need to get a grip and get various issues sorted! I'm so angry that their stupidity STOPS me putting an Angry Emoji (Or any other emoji for that matter!!)

Had to force-stop Chrome on mobile just now to get the video camera to reappear in the toolbar - whilst that means logging-in to the forum again, which worked with the newly-changed (enforced) password, switching back from oblig Desktop mode (needed to get at the video camera so it even shows in the toolbar!) I saw this - had to manually go to Community URL to get past it:
The authentication bit of O2's infrastructure is being particularly antsy recently, making one wonder if the recent 36-hour outage was due to more nefarious activities, forcing O2 to take the o2.co.uk site(s) all down to fix or restore...?
Any comment from O2 you can share, @Martin-O2 or @RafaC or @lewys-gp?

Yesterday, Fri 06 May, I had the same issue when trying to sign in. Clicked sign-in and taken to message which read PASSWORD EXPIRED - enter new password [sorry can`t provide screen shot]. Entered new password and confirmed. Said I`d be taken to Community but wasn`t. Had to retry by calling up sign-in, enter new password, and when confirmed managed to get on Community.
New password is working now so able to get on today.
Has anyone else experienced this Password Expired message ? When and why has this started ??
Answers would be appreciated @Martin-O2 @lewys-gp @RafaC

When I quoted @pgn post about forced new password, I had to delete his emoji because I got post flooding.
@Cleoriff As to you being stopped from putting Angry emoj, you should be able to copy and paste this one

I can copy and paste the ones we found and those you found later @Mi-Amigo but why the hell should we? We have a box full of FORUM emojis that we should be able to use. We seem to be working round ways to make up for the deficiencies of Khoros!!
* Changing passwords?! Why?
* Losing our Home page with this stupid sign in SECURITY check.
* Trying all day to get on the forum when it was down, either showing ducks or Oops!!
* Still having to Refresh a page to ensure we don't see that as unread
* Making our own emoji's because Khoros has stopped ours from posting (unless you are on mobile)
It just seems to me that if we weren't keen to get to the forum to help people we would just damn well give up!!

Oh my - one community smiley off the list, and "post flooding" - yet add in the keyboard "colon and letter o" and it gets converted into a smiley, only to lurk there waiting for the reply that quotes the post, including the converted smiley, and off we go round the houses again with the post-flooding message on their reply.

Infuriating, as well as interrupting any creative flow. Time to shut the laptop down and do something more productive, methinks.

I don't clear cache and cookies on Chrome, so I stay logged in and don't see any of these issues (thankfully!) but it sounds like a right nightmare.
Someone somewhere has changed something (maybe at Khoros, maybe at o2, probably at both - I suspect the latter) and it has completely forked the forum.
Khoros need to be held to account for fixing their part, but the login issues that seem to tie into o2 also need resolving.
I do wonder if the VM community is having similar issues...

Hi all we're still looking into the security check issue. It's not normal behaviour so somethings gone wrong and it wont be a permanent feature.
I'm also nearly done with an issue tracking topic so you can get the latest updates all in one place.
