My FaceTime videos use up 1GB per hour, which is at least double what other people seem to experience. What am I doing wrong?

Where are you getting the figures from ?
What devices are being used? Is it on mobile data or wifi etc?
I ask as many things will affect the data usage levels reported

I checked the remaining GB before and after, and it worked out at exactly 1GB per hour.
i am using an o2 pocket hotspot, and iPad mini.

Ok follow the info here to see the actual gb used in facetime as other things may have used the hotspot data as well!
