What do people think of this statement?

5G does have a minimum download speed of 20mbps whilst 4G has 1mbps, so it is faster, you'll need to look at the differences to see if 5G does work for you and your device better than 4G as there are pro's and con's to both.

Mm...minimum speeds mean nothing to actual speeds

4G in general is probably quicker and obviously more available

5G in manchester for example falls way below the quoted minimum....

5G's speed range is between 50mbps and 10+Gbps, it is all related to which frequency it is broadcast on, the backhaul in place to the POP.. 

It also depends on the CGNAT infrastructure, and any DNS resolution in place by the Network Operator, as well as if its 5G NR, MMWave etc

It would be better to say latency is better on 5G than 4G, although at handover it can be as high as 500ms, but usually 8-12ms

Can you tell I have been looking at Private 5G networks
