Emails/PM's re New Ranks?

Annoying little bugbear of mine (and have been discussing this with Marjo) so it would be interesting to ask the regulars...

@MI5  is exempt

Every time we went up a rank we were informed via an auto generated PM and email.

Since Mercedes left I have never had any notification that I have moved up a rank. I only know if I notice a change on my avatar.

I know @Glory1  is the same. She is never informed nowadays. 

So who else is left out...and who gets a PM informing them of change of rank?

Yes, it's the notification feed. The last recorded change of rank was for level 14, and that was in July of last year.

With due respect though, the fact that neither you or @jonsie  care is beside the point.

The forum isn't working properly. This is another glitch and as we have all had a say about other forum related issues, I thought I would mention this.

It certainly isn't at the top of my list of priorities currently.

No the levelling up PMs are far from my biggest concern either. More important to me is being unable to click on my clipboard where I keep all the guides I use to answer queries. This has been logged with @EmilieT. I can, after all, see when I've levelled up.

I would @Anonymous if I could get the bookmarjs to work properly! Obviously something I'm doing wrong as they've never worked since I've been in the community. Which is why I used my clipboard: when it worked

I am in agreement with you, @Cleoriff. I was just being facetious, but I was pleased to see @jonsie agreeing too. There are many aspects of this forum that don't work properly, and some have been since the year dot. My main one at the moment is this one third page of logo. Totally unnecessary and a waste of space, and a complaint that never gets addressed.:smileysad:

Update. I have just noticed this morning my rank is up to level 16 talkative but nothing in "notifications" and no pm "message" received as yet.
