The issue is being investigated by the technical team as we speak.

Definitely down, both webmail on the website and remotely via Outlook.
Possibly been down since midnight.
It would be nice to see something on the status page.

Phew am glad a read this I went for 3 months with no O2 email, took for ever to get it sorted out having had the account for years and years with no problems why is it all going so wrong recently? And why doi O2 never update the status pages? I have had more luck getting things fixed using Twitter than by calling in! lets hope they get it resolved soon

Glad I looked here too. Just been trying to set up an account on my new phone, which says it will send an email to my address to confirm - but I couldn't get it either through Outlook or webmail & thought I'd done something wrong! Please fix it soon o2.

Maybe they are upgrading their servers to support IMAP email, like every other provider supports!

It would be helpful if O2 posted service status information on their website, so that customers would know the problem is not with their computer.
