Don't bother trying to trade in, as expected they try and rip you off and offer a ridiculously lower price than quoted, even when the phone is in near perfect condition. Also, don't send in original box in case you'd rather sell privately (after receiving rip off offer) as you don't get the box back. Also left memory card in in error which also wasn't in when it was returned. Shambles of a service, sell privately!

@LilyG

We always recommend local stores such as CEX but it's personal choice.

When recycling anywhere, you should only send the phone (and battery) and nothing else at all.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

To be fair, CEX are just as bad as the recycling companies, and they will also try and give you under market value, and they then sell it at double what its worth..

Music Magpie are the one I would recommend, but avoid any Ingram Micro based services.

- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK

They want me to pay £149 to pay my phone off, then offered £18 for it. Not be renewing with O2.
