Inspired from the Nexus 4 thread (credit to apb79 for the idea!), I was thinking what people prefer: on device storage or something like The Cloud.
I've been one for wanting that SD slot but in reality, I've only used less than 1GB. Granted I don't store music or videos but judging by my BB Playbook 64GB usage, my entire music collection (>1900 songs in mp3) can be done in 10GB and 30GB for video of an entire 22 episode TV series (50 mins each), 5 feature films plus another 7 hours of video and still have space for other things.
With wifi, cloud and personal web server/storage you can attach to your router, 16GB on the Nexus 4 is more than enough to do things in my opinion. I'm slowly realising they are better methods that I can call on rather than having it on one device and via multiple devices.
My point is that things are changing and on-phone storage is going to be one of things that will not increase or even decrease. Is this going to stop you buying a phone or even a tablet because of the lack of internal/external storage? Or are our attitudes towards "The Cloud" being slowly changed aka like Google/Apple are trying to do?

There's something very comforting and slightly mysterious about a big metal safe and what lies behind the locked door!:smileyhappy:

Just remember to leave the safe key on the hook behind the front door!
