Hi, I have just been given a new sony ericsson c905 on Vodaphone, how can i delete the voda software to enable to use o2 software? thanks

You would have to install the generic firmware.

Be sure you have fully done your homework before carrying this operation out.

Make back ups of all your info.

Their is plenty of info on the net on how to do this.

Take it to a stand alone cellfone shop or a carfone warehouse with a repair centre within it and ask for a full firmware update to remove the bloated vodafone imposed firmware. The fee should be nominal.

Your not alone wanting to remove vodafones restricted firmware. They are notorious for releasing software updates late as they want to edit it before general release.
