Why is O2's customer service so appalling? I can never get through, the chat agents tell me to phone as the department needed aren't available on live chat.
When you do finally get through, their grasp of the English language is so bad, I have to repeat every sentence three times.

This is a customer to customer forum but it is a common complaint heard on here
Try using Social Media. It is slow but if you keep poking and reminding them you often get results

Quiet simple because no one in the UK wants to work in Customer Service, as the Great British public are abusive, make threats and the companies who operate the contact centres operate on a cost basis and its cheaper to outsource CS to other countries...
Even BT who moved there EE call centre back to Northern Ireland is closing it down by the end of the year as its too expensive and they cant keep staff..
