Credit check accepted but basket expired?

I got my credit check accepted for a contract phone yesterday. The email said to check my account but there was no information at all. I just found my basket and now it’s saying my item has expired and I need to start the process again?? But it’ll affect my credit score again which is pretty unfair. What can I do to resolve this issue?
