Could someone install monitoring software on my cell phone?

Recently, some weird things are troubling me. I wonder whether it is possible for someone who has access to my cell phone to install mobile spy software on the mobile phone to track my phone activity, so that he knows when and what I do. I suspect that my BF installed some mobile spy software on my phone, for he seems to know one of my male friend's name, which I've never mentioned to him before. Besides, several times, he spilled the beans and he even knew most of my activities that he should not know. He is familar with some mobile phone software as I know.
Can anyone give me some advice and tell me what I should do?

you would think they would be right on the ball when something is flagged.

If I was paying the contract for their M0deration services, I'd expect them to be on the ball before it can be flagged by the forum members.

They are much to busy monitoring your posts, along with sheepdog's and AF's...it's a full time job

What seems strange though is most forums rely on volunteer mods to do it when they can, and I certainly can't do it at work. As the mods on here do it as a full time job you would think they would be right on the ball when something is flagged. Mind you who knows how many boards they are having to look after.

No question, they will be spread thinly, but it is all about the quality and motivation of the Mod. I would happily suggest that without our flagging, loads would be missed! This isn't paid employment to us, this is an extension of our goodwill, or not, as often the case is!

re: the OP, it IS possible to install monitoring software on some of the older Nokia mobile phones.
Which Nokia do you have?
The reason I know this is I know a man who sells the software, therefore I know it is possible.

(I state categorically that I am not a shill and am not a spammer, this just happens to be my first post! lol I will not provide any further information on this so please do not contact me to ask. All the information is available on the internet if you do some searching.)

if i must be honest there is softwares out that allow users to access other photo's such as the famous 'superbluetooth hack' of which if the user has the right phone can store and read texts and contacts later on on his own phone.

Believe that BT hack was only on early implementations and fixed in recent years. Nokia 6310i I believe was the phone. Now it is proper handshaking and trusted pairing before any access is granted. Assuming you don't allow access to all in the first place!

Hmmm - this all feels a bit unfair.
My take was that the OP is asking the same question on a number of forums because she's concerned, nervous and fears that she may be in a relationship which could become abusive.
The early part of the thread doesn't feel like a lead in to spam. If so, you would expect to find follow-up on the other forums.
A simple Google search tells all that spy software on mobiles is more than merely possible: it's relatively easy to install just as with a PC and it's not obvious to someone without knowledge and suspicion to remove. Even more common in a corporate environment.
Curiously, what I didn't spot in the responses was `how to spot` and `how to remove`. I reckon if anyone has those answers, it would be constructive to post...
(of course, my flaw is that I always seek good in peeps motivation and accept that naivety may be the cost)

There is no doubt the subject of spy software is very real, but there is huge doubt that the OP was genuine. We see spam in here daily, all written in a certain kind of way and I would say we are more often right than wrong.
