Can't receive Vodaphone texts

For the last three weeks or so, I have been unable to receive texts, or calls from a friend on Vodaphone. Only found out because we usually text frequently. She can receive calls and texts from me, and when she texts me, her texts show as sent, but they don't get to me. If she tries to call me, her phone tells me that my phone is not in use! Have now realised that I am not receiving texts from another three friends on Vodaphone either. No problems with any other network. Have tried the sim in another 'phone, and even got another sim, then transferred my number, but none of it works. An O2 store has reported it for me, apparently there have been other complaints. No idea of timescale to resolve, so I'm now thinking to get a free sim, check if it receives Vodaphone texts, and then just move my contract over and keep that new number. Don't really want to change my number as I've had this one for donkey's years. Anyone experienced this, or got any other solutions?

Well if you can send texts to her it pretty much proves O2 works to Voda, it may be the issue lies with Vodafone sending texts to other networks, really you need to report this to voda (your friend does) so they can find a solution to why texts are not getting through/forwarded by their network.

Do you have a Samsung phone?

My first thought too, but if the OP has accidentally blocked 3 or more numbers it's bordering on the careless.
If you do have a Samsung, check your blocked list.
