Calls to customer service

Dont know if it been covered before but I have just had my bill and have various calls to customer services that have an huge cost to them only trying to pay bills and end up costing more than the bill What is going on!!!

Just to add in case the OP does not get what you are saying. Other than calling O2 via a o2 Phone on 202 you will be charged to call the number.

I really don't understand the question. All calls to CS on an O2 contract are free, unless you call from a non O2 phone, but then the calls wouldn't be on the O2 bill....??

My daughters Phone on pay monthly was faulty so couldnt call 202 so we were given a number to call a premium rate number ended up costing over £30 in calls on my landline

I don't know what number you rang but from a landline the call is 5p/min on BT.

Who gave you that number? Were you aware that it was a premium rate number before you used it?
