I have been charged for international call by o2 for this .
Basically I thought Iam calling a mobile contact number from United Kingdom to a mobile phone number which is physically present in the UK treating it as a Local Call .
Please anyone have any idea how do I prove the mobile number was in UK use alone and it's not an international call .
I have been charged a massive amount by o2 and it's a nightmare now for me .

It doesn't matter where the phone is I'm afraid.
You stilll called an international number.

An expensive lesson I'm afraid.
Calling a UK mobile anywhere in the world is included in your allowance
Conversely, calling an international number anywhere in the world is charged at an international rate
