Hopefully one of you techies our there can help me.

By the sounds of it, o2 use CGNAT over mobile data?

How does CGNAT work, and how many users would be under one ‘public’ IP address at the same time on o2?

What exactly is CGNAT?

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

@MI5 this is why I love this community, because other people do the research for you wink

Still doesn’t make sense to me, how can each ISP/carrier know which individual user is browsing, when they are under the same IP as other users.

How many users would usually be behind one IP?
