Hi, I'm looking at upgrade options for my wife and I am looking between the iPhone 11 and the iPhone 11 Pro. I'm just a bit confused why there are 2 different prices for the airtime but the same tariff. For example I was look at iPhone 11 with 36 month contract with 5GB data costing £23 and 15GB data costing £25. The exact same for the iPhone 11 Pro is £25 for 5GB and £28 for the 15GB. Seems a bit unfair that when it's the same tariff plus you will be paying more for the handset for the pro. Bit odd pricing that and please don't say one is a better spec phone than the other, all I knew was everyone using the same airtime unless pro users get data priority over others.

It's just yet another quirk of O2.

I was hoping someone from O2 might help out on here as you can’t ring them or even do webchat. Someone helped out on another query but seems like you said it’s another O2 quirk. Not right when you want the more expensive phones you have to pay more line rental which really doesn’t make sense. Will be an interesting call to them to upgrade tomorrow if I get through.

There's no one here from O2 posting in an official capacity.
If you want an answer from O2 you'll need to call them.
