Hi all! Not sure if I've posted in the right section as I've only joined so apologies if I have!
But tonight I dropped and lost the back of my HTC one v (not dropping the actual phone) and since then I've had ZERO signal and service. I've performed a factory reset, I've removed my SIM for over one hour and re-insterted it and according to O2, the local network is grand. I have eve searched for local networks and it keeps saying there's an error, however connecting to Wi-Fi is fine.
Any idea how I can fix this? The phone is brand new but my SIM is very old, I've had it well over 6 or so years now.
Thanks in advance!

Replacing the bottom cover
Important: Antennas are placed underneath the cover. To get the best signal for calls and data connection, be sure to secure the cover tightly.
Align the teeth underneath the bottom cover with the notches on the side of the phone.
Press down on the bottom cover with your thumbs, and then push it until it locks into place.
