About the new Spotlight format

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi guys,

You might have noticed that our latest Spotlights were so gooood and full of info that the template we were using is not longer the best way to introduce our Member Spotlight.

We were thinking on modifying our Spotlight template. It's been with us for a while but we think it's time to move on. Wave

  • Do you guys have any suggestions on how would you like it to be?
  • Do you prefer to see the interview posted directly on the thread?
  • Or were you happy with the image format?
  • Do we have any good graphic designers around? If anyone want to give it a go, just reply to this thread with your suggestion.

I'm sure we'll be hearing some interesting ideas.

Feedback

I think the main point here is that the Member in the Spolight should remain free to tell us as much or as little as they like about themselves.I personally would hate to see it become so structured that it scares members away.

This is going to happen if they think they HAVE to answer every question...or fit into a certain format?

Personally,  I don't see the point of a spotlight if people think it's ok to try to be funny without revealing anything meaningful about themselves. What the hell, if I want guarded comments I'd rather read the Telegraph. Look at some of the early Spotlights and I include myself, and spot the difference! If you don't want us to know you better then politely decline please.

I have made good friends through getting to know people. If you want to be secretive and glib then stay the heck away from the Spotlight.

Hell Mauy has just kicked my soapbox away! Seriosly, be open or don't bother.
