Solved: A long shot

I upgraded my phone today. So i've given my son my samsung s5 and he gave his brother the sony z3. Son who had the sony z3 is still in contract with that phone. Now the question is can my son use his sim only card in that phone or is it locked to my son who as the contract until he pays the phone off.

Any help would be appresiated

You can put any o2 sim into any o2 or unlocked phone you wish, no problem at all.

Unless the sim needed is a different size. If it is, you can get the right sized sim in any O2 store free of charge and they will swap the details over to the new sim while you're there.
