Hi guys,

There have been a few articles on ‘The Blue’ that include some pretty interesting stats,

so I thought I’d post them for you to chat about as I know you like stats ;).

They relate to O2 Refresh and O2 Contracts:

- As you may be aware, O2 Refresh launched almost a month ago and it’s popular,

with 9 out 10 members of the network using it if they are eligible.

- In this time, 95% of iPhone customers used O2 Refresh to purchase their phone with.

- Onto Contract stats; 251,000 customers chose an O2 mobile phone contract between

1st January and 31st March, 9% up on last year.

- Of these new Contracts, 93% used smartphones.

Have any of you used ‘Refresh’ yet or plan to? I’d love to hear your thoughts on it.

Also, I wonder if we have any non-smartphone users on the community at the moment.

What was the last non-smart phone you used? Mine was a Nokia 6700. Great phone and so shiny!

I am looking into refresh as it seems very good & an easier way to get what you want. My last non smartphone was a Samsung wave 525

From a "on the fence" persepective between employee and customer; Refresh is a great way for people to stay up to date and not have that sinking feeling of having to pay a massive upgrade fee to do it. Throw O2 Recycle into the mix and you could get an absoloute bargain on your next upgrade.

For those of you who know what my role is within O2 don't judge, but my long serving (non smart) phone up until 2 years ago was a Sony Ericsson W910i - yeah the music shaking phone, which I still miss for it's awesome build quality and its compact sliding keyboard.

Still have the trusty 6500 classic as my back-up for emergencies (thankfully not needed it - yet), must be at least six years old.

I take it out of the cupboard every couple of weeks and fire it up - never fails, and it only gets charged about twice a year!! slight_smile
