A month ago I got a text from O2 telling me that 4G was coming. A few days later, there it was.
It is a better 4G signal than I used to get GSM. Marvellous
Thanks.
The university students have now arrived back so let's hope that extra capacity has been built in, so that reception doesn't die off when they're all using it.

It still is poor round the centre. Too many hills. Also it is in the north east, so we don't have enough people to matter to enough carriers. Oh for mast sharing so we could have them spread out instead of clustered. .
O2 was always the only one to get ANY signal at home ; now it is better.

Waiting patiently for 4G to land in Lancaster and Morecambe. EE currently have it here so presumably are mopping up all of the university students too

We have good 4G in Manchester but get to the airport and you are lucky to see E displayed. I would have thought that major airports would all have 4G. Is it just Manchester or are other airports the same?
