having had an issue with my friends and family bolt on and said we might look for another provider a customer care agent declared "we have 42 million customers so you wont be missed" so much for customer care.So i've decided to use facebook and see what happens.......this was posted sept 6th.....just been told by o2 that they have 42 million customers which entitles them to be as rude as they like and if we left it wouldn't matter well i maybe 1 customer but if i can get this shared enough times maybe they will have a few less and perhaps listen to there customers so please share with everyone you know.
I hope someone in the o2 management reads this because you've got one very hacked off user

I doubt that anyone in customer care said that to you. Most calls are recorded, and if they did say that, I'm sure they wouldn't have a job for long. O2 don't have that many customers for starters, but apart from that, maybe if you shared your problem here, someone could help you with it. No one from O2's management frequent this forum. We are all customers here, just like you, and some of the regular members of the forum are very knowledgeable.

Was this Live Chat or Uk 02 Customer Services {202/4445} that made the comment ?
If it was Live Chat then I assume you saved the transcript and as Bambino says if it was Uk Customer Services they hopefully have a recording of the phone call.
Their are 02 forum staff on here who are called @Toby and @Chiara.
If you PM them i'm sure they will assist you further if you wish.
People are human and in times of stress etc can slip and revert to type, but as a Business that strives to provide good Customer Service and a good Customer experience, this type of comment is unreasonable, no matter what is going on in the conversation.
As Bambino says if you care to elaborate on the problem you have we may be able to assist as fellow customers.
