All phones will warn you that texting short codes may cost.
It doesn't mean they will or that it's a scam.

Deleted the text so do not have the number it came in on. It's easy if you receive a text from the scammer (02uk) and you try to reply your phone will issue a warning that the reply will cost you money.

As I said above, attempting to text any short code will issue the warning. It does not mean it is a scam at all.
