I totaly agree! I have not picked up a gold surprise for 6 months.Theyre pathetic.I contact them by email every month and have never got a reply as of yet.I am looking for a different provider as from today!

i Agree, its not a lucky dip at all, i had 14 coads and all was same prizes, all since the new hook a duck came on, the old way was miles better, its just a load of rubbish

Hello all, I've just joined the forum on the chance of finding out if it's just me that seems to "win" unsuitable or unusable "prizes"!! it seems not, although happy with my phone tariff and service, the powers that be, don't seem to have much imagination, for the past 4 months I've not been able to use any of the "prizes" on offer!! maybe if one or two of "the management" took a shufti at a few posts or threads such as this one, it "may" prompt them to add a different selection on alternate months, that "may" keep most people happy!! :womanindifferent:
BTW I'm not shouting or ranting just attempting to influence those wot can alter the "prizes!!

The O2 surprises are a joke. My last two gold top ups gave prizes consisting of opportunities to buy stuff from companies at a small discount a 241 offer which anyone can get anyway, a music download - big deal and other useless stuff all of which can be got anyway for free.
Incidentally I agree typing in Caps is shouting but don't tell the people off. They are Newbies and just need gentle assistance with Nettiquette.

O2 staff will read these forums and report back to their decision makers. Forums are an excellent way for users to get their message across to recalcitrant suppliers.

O2 did start to contribute in the broadband forums but that help has dried up.

They may not show their heads above the parapet but I can assure you their PR people at the very least will be looking. This is normal practice. there is also an excellent chance that someone in customer service will be looking too as will their customer relations bods. As a matter of interest 02 pay a company to search every newspaper in the land for any item relating to 02.
