Make it so 4G roaming works as well as at home...

4G is offered in many European locations, however O2 does not support 4G roaming, even on other in-country "O2" networks (eg, O2.de, O2.irl, etc).

Why not?

Nothing new unfortunately. Same reason as they only give us 0.5 Mbps download speeds.

yeah, its a bit sad when everyone else on other networks gets 4G when roaming, and we get POOR quality 3G...

Come on O2 get your finger out, at this rate switching becomes more appealing...

 

luckily my work phone is on Vodafone, so I can get 4G that way.....

I did a little search on Twitter for the phrase "roam like home" - amazing how some other providers are choosing to interpret the "ambiguous" guidelines issued to make this whole "free roaming in the EU" thing work:
