Wifi Calling

Just bought a Google Pixel 3 but can't use it as I don't get a reception at home and it currently doesn't have wifi calling.  Does anyone know whether o2 will be introducing wifi calling on this phone in the near future? I have 14 days to return the phone and need to know whether to return or keep.  Thanks

Just want to say thank you everyone for your help and advise.

I've now solved the problem by getting an o2 boost box, which I was able to get because I have a business account. This has solved my issue as I can now connect my phone indoors.

It would still be nice to have the wifi calling function, so hopefully that will come soon.

@Nelly O2 are working on it but no firm date as yet https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Android/Google-Pixel-3-4G-amp-WiFi-Calling/m-p/1166341/highlight/true#...

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

I see that at the beginning of November o2 said they were working on it - is there an update? I need to know whether I need to return the phone as I need to be able to make calls from home.  I see o2 are selling these phones, so you would think they would offer wifi calling.

If you need to rely on wifi calling, go to another network. O2 will likely get there eventually but don't expect it immediately.

Definitely change network if you have to rely on wifi calling at home. Get some free sim cards from the other network websites to check home and the areas you frequent most. If you have no reception at home it's a no-brainer.
