@Dazz

I'd guess something used whilst abroad.

Maybe exceeded your data allowance?

Charges for bolt-ons, tariff, etc are always a month in advance. The high-charge items could be due to cost while roaming on a non-European network (say, Turkey when on Cyprus, for example).

Hi @Dazz

I am  a business customer, and data calls/mobile data charges on my bill refers to my mobile broadband. I only see an amount against this when I've exceeded my data limit.

Do you have O2 broadband or mobile broadband, and could you have exceeded your limit? While consumer contracts don't allow you to exceed your data limits on mobile broadband or on telephone data, and stop once you've reached your limit this does not apply on a business account. And your data will continue at the high rate of £7 per mb, I believe.

This could be the answer to why your bill has increased and what data calls/charges could mean on your bill. And, as pointed out above, O2 bills are always payable in advance.

Hope this helps and, again, welcome to the forum Welcome

I only have the mobile phone and some with o2, but if what your saying about £7 per mb then that could be part of the issue as I did go over my 3gb allowance but would that show as "data calls" and not just "data" as I use more than my 3gb most months but only paid about £20 on top of my usual bill cost
