I've just discovered that 02 has taken roughly an extra £50 this month from my business account. An unknown number has suddenly appeared on my account statement and I am unable to contact a human being to explain the situation or find out how I am being ripped off. I appreciate that there is a global pandemic but this is the very time when I can least afford some low life skimming money off my account. Is there anybody out there at O2  who can :

a) acknowledge my existance

b) respond to the situation

c) tell me how this has happened

d) give me my friggin' money back!?

What does your itemised bill say the £50 was spent on, @cyrilt?

O2 won't respond here, and this is a community Forum - numbers for O2 here: Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support (not sure about Business, tho!).

@cyrilt This isn't O2. This is a customer community. See if this explains anything: https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/How-to-Guides/Have-you-fallen-for-or-been-conned-into-a-premium-rate-s...

And this: https://payforitsucks.co.uk/

If not you'll have to contact customer service on 8002

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

Hi @cyrilt , sorry to hear you've had an unexpected charge on your bill. 😞 To add to the above suggestions, could this be a charge related to conference calling by any chance? We've seen a few of these recently when more people are working from home and using conference calling apps - a call made on your mobile into a Zoom call for example can route via a phone number that's located abroad, which charges to your bill as a foreign call. We have a guide written by our member @pgn on that here. Just adding this in case it might help explain your bill.
