Hi

My phone is currently going through the port process so that I can use my number from my previous supplier. The new sim we have been given doesn't have a number assigned to it so it wasn't active when we received it. My old sim has now gone off and has been for about four hours. How long does it usually take for the new sim to take on the number. I know the process can take up to 24 hours but it seems that this is usually the initial stage rather than the new account taking on the number.

Keep rebooting the phone with your O2 SIM in it.

Ports are taking a little longer than usual.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

@dave9

What stage are you at and what have you done so far?
